Betty Welch

Betty Atwood Welch, 72, of St. George, GA, passed away December 9, 2010. She was born in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late John and Nettie Atwood. She was a member of Grace Baptist Fellowship in St. George. She was preceded in death by her grandson: Duane McCoy.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years: Joe E. Welch; 7-Children: Billy (Kim) Atwood, Leland David (Janet) Davis, Lisa Jo (Larry) Powell, Joel E. Welch, Patricia Deanne (Buddy) McCoy, Ruth Marie (Mikey) Lee and Charlotte (Mike) Bennett; a Sister: Eva Rose Rodgiers; 11-Grandchildren and 3-Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday December 13 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of St. George with Rev. Gene Burnsed officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the St. George Cemetery.
