Betty Sue Wainwright Jackson, 83, of Folkston, GA passed away May 11, 2016. She was born in Waycross, Georgia to the late Timothy and Katie Howell Wainwright. She was a beautician by trade. She attended Grace Chapel Baptist Church for a number of years before joining First Baptist Church of Folkston.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Noah R. Jackson; 3-Sisters: Martha Leigh Morgan, Doris Brooks & Francis Wainwright and 4-Brothers: J.S. Wainwright, Lamar Wainwright, Phillip Wainwright, & Kenneth Wainwright; a Daughter-In-Law: Marian Jackson, Summer Gilhousen .
She is survived by her children: Belinda (Larry) Kern of Folkston, GA, Sarah (Rocky) Harrison of Watkinsville, GA, Chris (Jody) Jackson of Folkston, GA, Phyllis (Ron) Eunice of Folkston, GA, David (Karen) Jackson of Folkston, GA, Joel (Kristina) Jackson of Jacksonville, FL & Marshall (Mandy) Jackson of Folkston, GA; 18-Grandchildren: April (Kevin) Puzniak, Brian (Stoney) Kern, Joel (Ciara) Kern, Heath (Donna) Harrison, Hope Harrison, Buddy (Sarah) Harrison, Patrick Jackson, Andy (Cathy) Jackson, Matthew (Melissa) Jackson, Jennifer Jackson, Jamie (Sterling) Walters, Caleb Eunice, Anne Jackson, Danielle (Waldo) Cervantez, Joel (Lauren) Jackson II, Dalton Camp, Micah Dean & Fielding Dean; 23 Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 13 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14 at the First Baptist Church of Folkston at 11:00 AM with Dr. Randy Jacoby officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Caleb Eunice, Brian Kern, Joel Kern, Pat Jackson, Andy Jackson, Matt Jackson, Joel Jackson II, Micah Dean and Fielding Dean.
