Betty Ruth Grimm Guynn

Betty Ruth Grimm Guynn, 88, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 31, 1934 to the late Paul G. Grimm, Sr. and Evelyn Delores Jones Grimm. Betty attended First Baptist Church in Folkston and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Wayne Guynn, and a brother; Paul G. Grimm, Jr.

She is survived by her 3-children; Jay Kauffman, Scott Kauffman, and Larry (Luz) Kauffman, 6-grandchildren; Cody (Lindsey) Kauffman, Cheyanne (Josh) Hall, Haley Sutton, Lisa Marie Kauffman, Larry Kauffman Jr., and Angela (Jay) Kauffman, 3-sisters; Clara Reed, Gloria Anderson, and Katherine Harrison, and 16-great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Green Cove Springs, Florida at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
