Benjamin Henderson Spinks

Benjamin Henderson Spinks, 87, of Hilliard, FL passed away September 15, 2023 at the Life Care Center in Hilliard.  He was born October 9, 1935 in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Ellwood Spinks and Elizabeth Lord Spinks.  He proudly served his country in the US Army.  He owned and operated Ben Spinks Tax Service for a number of years before his retirement in 2010.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister; Willene McCremmon, and a brother; Allen Spinks.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years; Lillian Nash Spinks, 2-children; Shari (Fred) Chiovaro, and Edward R. (Teri) Spinks, 6-grandchildren; Dalton Spinks, Skylar Spinks, Colby (Angela) Franko, Ashton (Justine) Franko, Josh Blanton and Stacy Chiovaro, 3-great-grandchildren; Walker Franko, Jackson Franko, and Levi Franko, sister; Theodesa Mixon, and brother; Randolph Spinks.

A service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
