Ben Kitchings

John Debenion “Ben” Kitchings, 40, of Folkston, passed away Sunday May 25 suddenly from injuries sustained in a 4-wheeler accident. He was a life long resident of Charlton County. He was employed with the City of Folkston.

He is survived by his parents: Lamar and Ethelleene Kitchings; a Sister: Donna Marie Wade; 2-Brothers: Joseph William Kitchings and Randall Morris (Leighann) Kitchings; Grandparents: Alton and Lorene Carter; Nieces and Nephews: Deanna and Daniel Wade, Charles Burch, Cheyenne, Gavin and Allison Kitchings; Aunts & Uncles: Laverne (Faye) Carter, Jackie Carter, Marjorie (Jake) Crews, Tommy (Sheila) Carter, Timmy (Vicki) Carter, Ethel (Bill) Coon, and Inman Kitchings.

The family will receive friends Wednesday May 28 at Ben's residence at Rt. 3 Box 838 in the Racepond Carter Community of Charlton County after 3:00 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday May 29 at 11:00 AM at Racepond Cemetery at Sand Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ion Johns officiating.
