Belle Bryant

Belle Altman Bryant, 93, of Folkston, GA passed away October 27, 2015.  She was born March 4, 1922 in Charlton County to the late Charlie Jefferson Altman and Cora Mizell Altman.  She was married to the late George Neal Bryant for 64 years before his passing in 2005.  She and Mr. Bryant lived in Jacksonville, FL and Waycross, GA before moving back to Folkston.  She always put her children first, even being a cheerleading volunteer just so she could be at all of her sons football games.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Folkston.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings:  Morris, Raymond, Hubert, Eunice, Leila and Pearl.
She is survived by her 3-Sons:  Bobby O. Bryant (Kay), Billy C. Bryant (Sandra) & Jeff Bryant; 15-Grandchildren; 30-Great Grandchildren and 4-Great Great Grandchildren; a Sister:  Gertrude Bryant and a Brother:  Charles Altman.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 29 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Folkston with Dr. Randy Jacoby and Rev. Gene McCullough officiating.  Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
