Barbara Todd

Barbara Ann Turner Todd, 73, of Folkston, GA passed away August 21, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL.  She was born October 2, 1941 in Charlton County, GA to the late Jesse Edward Turner, Sr. and Odell Johnson Turner.  She was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday School teacher and a founding member of the Racepond Station #3 Volunteer Fire Department.  She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and loved family gatherings, cooking, her beloved pets and traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years:   John Willie Todd; children:  Debra (Buddy) Mizell, Don (Elaine) Todd; 4- Grandchildren:  Melissa Cook, Clifton (Kalee) Todd, Kristen (Jay) Steedley and Haley Todd and 3 Great Grandchildren:  Jared Cook, Grayson Todd & Landry Steedley; a brother:  Charlie (Elizabeth) Turner; 2-Sisters:  Lynne (Charlie) Crews, Brenda Espinueva; a Brother-in-law:  Virgil Crews; a Sister-in-law:  Anita Turner; and a number of other relatives
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister:  Betty Ruth Crews and 2-Brothers:  Jesse Turner and Lott Turner.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 23 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24 at 2:00 PM at Sand Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jody Griffin, Rev. E.C. Crews and Rev. Trent Long officiating.  Burial will follow in Racepond Cemetery.
