BARBARA JOHNSON

Barbara Roach Johnson, 58, of Folkston, GA passed away Thursday, December 17 in Brunswick, GA.  She was born October 3, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Paul Harris Roach, Sr. and Barbara Nell Hayward Roach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings:  Mary Jane Batten, Paul Harris Roach, Jr., Richard Leo Roach, Susan Evangeline Kirton and Charles Thomas Roach.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years:  Robert Johnson; her daughter and son-in-law:  Nikki and Thomas Johnson; 4-sisters:  Catherine Melton, Theresa Slayton, Rebecca Newman, and Angela Chesser; a brother:  Steve Roach; 5-grandchildren:  Casey Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Michael Johnson and Dustin Johnson and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 19 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Memorialization will be by cremation.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules of social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service.   Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
