ARTHUR KNOWLES

Arthur Preston Knowles, 67 of Folkston, Georgia passed away at his residence, May 7, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born March 3, 1948 in Folkston, Georgia. He was employed with the City of Folkston for 20 years and FAA in Hilliard for 25 years.
Survivors: His wife of 48 years: Laura Geraldine Knowles; Son: Andrew(Andy)Preston Knowles; Daughter-in-law: Saralyn (Cissy) Knowles; Granddaughter: Kelsie Lynn Knowles; Brothers: Emanuel(Martha Ann) Knowles; Gene Knowles; Howard (Bernice) Knowles; one sister: Geraldine Butts Many Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.   He was preceded in death by his mother and father: Jeffery and Lula Knowles; two brothers: Thomas Knowles and Lonnie Knowles; two sisters: Beulah Spradley and Inez Riggins.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the funeral home from 6 until 8 PM.  Graveside services will be Monday, May 11, 2015 at  11:00 AM in Camp Pinckney Cemetery with Rev. Tim Hall and Jimmy Parker officiating.The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made in honor of Arthur Knowles to Camp Pinckney Baptist Church.
