Ardythe Virginia Wade Bagby, 93 of Hilliard passed away at her residence on May 18, 2010. She was born to the late Leland Wade and Selma Sundberg on January 8, 1917. Mrs. Bagby worked with Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Washington during World War II. She drove an Aviation Gas truck with Petroleum Carrier Corp. of America, and was also involved with the Kraft Bag Plant in St. Marys. Mrs. Bagby was of the Pentecostal Faith.
She is survived by Three Sons: Glenn (Lou) Higginbotham, Gene Higginbotham and Larry Boothe all of Hilliard; Two Daughters: Joann O'Neal and Bobbie Hall both of Hilliard; One Brother: Garland (Rita) Wade of Hilliard; 13 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great-Great Grandchildren and many Nieces, Nephews and other Relatives. She is preceded in death by her son: Robert Boothe, Jr..
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia from 6-8PM. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 21 at 2:00 PM at Shepard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Van Elmore officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Hilliard.
