Anna Marie Odom, 53 of Homeland, Georgia passed away September 23, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida.
She was born November 24, 1957 in Shubuta, Mississippi to E.L. Odom and Esther Tew. Anna served in the U.S. Army for nine years earning overseas Ribbons and Medals.
She is survived by one sister: Lucille Elchorn; Brothers: Dean Odom and Maurice Odom; Special friend and family member: Mavis Bohannon; Several nieces, nephews, many great nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by one sister: Lois Odom Moore and brothers: Harold Odom, Charles Odom and Bobby Odom.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carolyn Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.
