Anna LoBuono

A time to be born -_LaVerne LoBuono, a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (GG) was born on May 30, 1924 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania to the late James and Irene Mullooly.
A time to live - LaVerne grew up in Detroit Michigan. A brief marriage blessed her with sons Dan and Russ. She moved back to Turtle Creek where she worked as a secretary at Edger Thompson Steel Mill, while raising Dan and Russ with the help of her Mother”Mimi”our grandmother. She later worked at a children’s store and worked in the accounting office of the Holiday House. She had the privilege of meeting stars such as the Temptations. In her later years, she moved in with Dewey and helped raise Anna and Cliff. Mom was an avid sports fan and lover of old movies.


A time to love - On July 2, 1955 she married Michael LoBuono and had a daughter Pam.
A time to die - Early Monday morning on July 11, 2011, the Lord called LaVerne home.

A time to mourn - Mom will be deeply missed. Cherished memories will remain in the hearts of her loved ones, two sons: Daniel Glissman(Garnetta) of Catoosa, OK; Russell Glissman(Barbara) of Williamsburg, VA; one daughter, Pam Milton(A.B.) of Folkston, GA; one granddaughter: Diane Glissman of CA; two grandsons: Steven Glissman(Heather) of Richmond, VA; Christopher Glissman(Carly) of Chesapeake, VA; two step-grandchildren: LaChyna Milton of Atlanta, GA; Darryl Milton(Misa) of San Diego, CA.; one great-granddaughter: Stella May; 3 step great-grandchildren: Marsell, Maxwell and Tyrell. A devoted friend Dewey and his children: Anna (Tim) and Cliff; her beloved dog and companion Lady (My Girl)
