Anita Gail “Ninki” Hoobler, 60, passed away March 1 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born October 3, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida. She had been a paraprofessional with the Nassau County School System at Hilliard Elementary for over 20 years. She was a proud Cancer Survivor for over 5 ½ years.
She was preceded in death by her father: Theodore Edison Plummer; her mother: Evelyn Irene Blackwell Plummer Smith; her step-father: Eugene Wayne Smith; 2 brothers: Norman Plummer and Buddy Plummer; and a sister: Pat Plummer Frank.
She is survived by her daughter: Megan Hoobler; a brother: Freddie (Bobbi) Plummer; and the love of her life: John C. Terrell.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 5 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 6 at 3:30 PM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home with Lillis Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.
