ANGELA NEWKIRK

Angela Denise Barton Harley Newkirk, 56, of Folkston, Georgia passed away October 4, 2012 at Shands Jacksonville. She graduated in 1976 from Screven County High School, where she was the class president and Homecoming Queen.
She is survived by her Children: Kristen Crews (Byron) and Jonathan Harley (Laina Bowen); 4-Grandchildren: Cameron, Ayden, Landon and Rylei; her Parents: Jimmy (Toby) and Margaret Parker; and her brothers: Tom Barton (Nina), Jerry Barton (Cecelia), Chuck Parker (Tammy); sisters: Darlene Shields (Brent), Sherry Smith (David) and Karen Creech (Robert).
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 7 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia. A memorial service will also be held Monday, October 8, at 10:00 AM at her parents’ home in Sylvania, Georgia. Memorialization will be by cremation.
