Ander Padgett

Ander Lee Padgett, 80 went to his eternal home in Heaven, May 13, 2013, surrounded by his wife and daughters, at his home in Folkston Georgia.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pastor Betty J Padgett, his three daughters, Maria Padgett Christy, Genia Padgett O'Neal and Gloria Padgett Ray. Three son in laws, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, five sisters and four brothers.

Mr. Padgett proudly served his Country for 31 years in the Army, Air force and retired as a Navy Seabee.  He also retired from 23 years with The City of Jacksonville as a heavy equipment operator.

A Celebration of his life will be held at Folkston First Assembly of God on Thursday, May 16th at 3:00 PM., with Pastor James Moore officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Folkston First Assembly of God Church.

A Committal Service will be held Friday, May 24th, 2013, at1:30 pm, in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
