ALVIN DRURY

Alvin Woodrow “Bo” Drury, 66, of Hilliard, passed away April 30 in Jacksonville, FL following a lengthy illness. He was born Coggin Still Community in Brantley County to the late John Woodrow Drury and Effie Mae Carter Drury. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Boulougne.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Jo Drury; 5-Children: Paula Pittman White (Terry), Robby Ann Knowles Young (John), Angela Bruce (Mark), Bobby Knowles (Karen), and Terri Crews (Wayne); 4-Sisters: Betty Mae Stubbs, Debra Herndon, Barbara Kramer, and Kara Lynn Lewis; 3- Brothers: Pedro Drury, John Drury, Jr., and Tony Dean Drury; 8-Grandchildren and 4-Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 3 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 4 in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kris Elkins officiating. Burial will follow in Racepond Cemetery at Sand Hill Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Tom Kramer, Mitchell Hilton, Johnny Hilton, Jake Carter, Mitchell Lloyd, Mark Bruce, Ian Bruce and Jonathan Crews.
