Allan Spurlock

Allan D. Spurlock, 46, of Folkston, GA passed away August 28, 2013.  He was born and lived his life in Folkston, GA.  He graduated from Charlton County High School in 1985.  He loved hunting and the outdoors.  He was a member of Camp Pinckney Baptist Church and attended Victory Baptist Church.  He loved and cherished his children more than anything.  He was preceded in death by his father:  W.L. Spurlock, and 2 brothers-in-law:  Timothy Thomas and Jeff McQuaig.

He is survived by his children:  Tori Spurlock, Taylin Spurlock, Tracer Spurlock, Jesse Gowen and Jake Gowen; his mother:  Julia Reed Spurlock; 3-sisters:  Marilyn Spurlock, Debbie Thomas and Julia (Dave) Schoener; 3- brothers:  JR (Kathy) Spurlock, Matthew McQuaig, Michael McQuaig.

The family will receive friends Friday August 30 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston beginning at 5 PM.  Funeral services will be held Saturday August 31 at 11:00 AM at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Hall, Rev. E.C. Crews and Rev. Ray McMillan officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
