Alice Haddock

Alice Sina Haddock, 75 of Hilliard, went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2009, at her residence. She was born in Folkston, January 11, 1934. She lived a wonderful, caring Christian Life, and touched many people's hearts . She was a member of Buford Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and Grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Herbert Leon Haddock of Hilliard; Three Children: Eva Faye Jones(Buddy) of Fernandina, Larry Leon Haddock of Hilliard and Jeff Ray Haddock(Donna) of Vidalia. Four Grandchildren; Shannan Elyse Jones(Bruce) of St. Marys, Georgia, Zachary Benjamin Jones of Hilliard, Susan Elizabeth Shaw of Vidalia, and Casey Leigh Haddock of Vidalia. Four Brothers: James Prescott(Hertha), Wesley Prescott(Betty), Oliver Prescott(Emma Lou), Winfred Prescott(Carolyn), and many loving Nieces, Nephews, loving Church family and former Church Members., and Christian friends worldwide. She was preceded in death by brothers: Tommy Prescott(Lettie), Clifford Prescott; Two sisters: Margret Brock(J.M.) and Joy Popham(Gene).
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 6 until 8 PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of N.E. Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
Pallbearers: Burt Geiger, Roger Collier, Sonny Davis, William Dimaria, Hall Merritt and Al Gordon, Sr.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 29, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Buford Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Harrington and Rev. Sam Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Pigeon Creek Cemetery.
