Aldridge McMahan

Aldridge Manar McMahan, “Al”, 87, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away November 29, 2013 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Hokes Bluff, Alabama to the late Slaught Manar McMahan and Nellie Sewell McMahan. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea. He graduated from Hokes Bluff High School in 1945, from Jacksonville State University in 1951 with a degree in Psychology, and Auburn University in 1955 with a Pharmacy Degree. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Jacksonville. He is survived by his wife: Eva Canaday McMahan; a Son: Wayne (Teresa) McMahan; a Sister: Edwina Kandelos; and 2-Grandchildren: Trevor McMahan and Kristen (Mylon) Nelson. The family will receive friends Monday, December 2 at Faith Baptist Church, 5330 Dunn Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32218 beginning at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 3 at 10:00 AM at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.
